One of our favorite places to host weddings and events outside of the Seattle catering area is area farms where we get many of our ingredients. It’s the perfect contrast to daily life, presenting a peaceful, beautiful, and natural location to celebrate. One of the region’s newest farm event venues is ‘The Fields’ at Willie Green’s Organic Farm located in Monroe, Washington’s lush Tualco Valley.

The 21 acre working organic farm, founded by former chef Jeff Miller, combines the expected with the unexpected – a luxury Raj tent from India for covered eating and dancing, bamboo groves for strolling, a fire pit, ponds and fountains, circular outdoor seating among flowers for dining under the stars, working tractors for harvests, and greenhouses ripe with seedlings and tomatoes. Expansive fields of blueberries, strawberries, leafy greens, and root vegetables stretch out in all directions from the event area’s manicured botanical landscape.

Jeff envisioned the farm as not only an organic produce provider, but as a place for urban city dwellers to escape the city, let go of the stress of day to day life and relish the expansive views of rolling farm land. Cradled to the east by the cascade mountain range and to the south and west by the Skykomish and Snoqualmie Rivers, the area’s fertile landscape provides a gorgeous backdrop for those seeking a natural event setting.
