This is such a first-rate establishment that their greatest challenge will be to live up to the lofty expectations they've created by pulling off such a brilliant opening. The menu is amazing, and to my knowledge, this is the best late-night happy hour in West Seattle—three-dollar beers and seven-dollar small plates that are both delicious and not very small.

What a fabulous discovery. We drove and it was worth the trip by far. The most creative and tasty food. Highly recommend it. Took our 9 year old and he was happy.

Fresh Bistro is exactly what West Seattle needs. The ambiance is more upscale but the vibe is unpretentious. The food is outstanding and they have great cocktails. They are still working out some kinks and items on the menu but this place has all the makings to become one of the cities best restaurants. Happy hour is a deal.... try the pork bellies and the clams. They are the 2 best items on the entire menu. Service has always been top notch too.

Just got back from dinner there. It's my 3rd visit.  It was well worth the trek from Mill Creek. The wait staff was very attentive and the food was as delicious as the last two times. The difficulty is trying to figure out what to chose off the menu. There are so many delicious shared plates that one can simply have those as a meal, but then you would have to not be tempted into looking at the entrees. Or, if you get the shared plates and an entree... you must try to save a spot in your stomach for dessert!

My favorite entree is still the oxtail.. it is comfort food and decadence all in one. I had to force myself to order something different tonight just to shake things up a bit though I longed to order it. I am happy that the shiso shrimp were still on the menu... fantastic.  I also enjoyed the hamachi with the very clever enoki, bean sprout and shiso "salad."

This was our 4th visit to Fresh, and it does not disappoint. The staff are great and the food is wonderful. Can't ask for more than that! We have since had brunch there and it was also very, very good.

I have now been to Fresh Bistro twice and have loved it both times. Last night I took a group of my girlfriends in there to celebrate my birthday. They encouraged us to get a table even though we were just having drinks. The service was great and the kitchen even sent out an appetizer for our table to share.

It is beautiful inside. All earthy warm tones and lots of light -- yet at the same time very private and cozy. I will definitely go there again and I encourage anyone to try it.
