28 Nov Seattle’s Quintessential Event Venue Transports You to The City of Lights!
Twice a year we host themed open house events to showcase our delicious new seasonal menus, the distinct beauty and functionality of our Seattle venues, and décor and floral inspiration from our Herban Design Studio. We feature our vendor partners and invite clients, friends, family, and peers for a party that kicks off the new season of celebrating.
This September, our Parisian-inspired Sodo Park open house transported guests to the City of Lights with romantic décor, delectable hors d’oeuvres, and a classic French cocktail.
The movie Moulin Rouge was projected on the wall inside the venue, Kir Royales were served at the bar, and French music perfumed the air.
Our Herban Design Studio team led by Nicole Haynes transformed the space. We adored the simple, yet stately elegance of her beautiful gold and ivory tabletops.
Themed food stations, such as the The Salon, Boom Boom Room, and a French Cafe were located throughout venue, offering guests the opportunity to try favorites from our 2013 fall/winter menus, including seared beef loin canapés, our signature sweet potato crab cakes, port poached fig tartlets, pumpkin and goat cheese rice fritters, and more.
Guests satisfied their sweet tooth at The Boulangerie, topping off the evening by nibbling on Palmiers and our ever popular house made “Ding Dongs”.
It was tres magnifique!
