Once upon a time, there was a bagel shop just a few doors down from the old Herban Feast kitchen in West Seattle. BJ would come in for bagels. That’s when I met him and discovered Herban Feast! I thought how fun it would be to pick up a few server shifts and have been here happily ever after. Our clients inspire me. I enjoy creating fun and exciting menus from unique cuisines to multi-course dinners. Every day is full of creativity. In the end, the most satisfying thing is seeing all the magic come together beautifully!

What is one food you could not live without?

French Fries! Especially with truffle salt.

What beverage are you enjoying when you are out on the town?

A good glass of red wine or a vodka soda.

Where is your hometown and what is your favorite thing about it?

I’m originally from Portland, Oregon, and I moved to Seattle to go to school at Cornish in the dance department. I’ve lived here for so long now that Seattle feels like my hometown, and it’s where my daughter lives.

Portland has changed so much over the years that it’s like visiting a new town every time I go back down! All my other family lives there, and I always enjoy seeing my niece and nephew when I visit.

What do you like to do with your free time?

I enjoy a good meal with good friends or just kickin’ back at home.
